BMW's R1200GS is the evolution of the most successful adventure-touring twin in the world.

On pavement, the 1200 is a sort of Sensible Sportbike: comfortable riding position, amazing suspension, and capable of 9/10ths of the performance of a "pure sportbike" while carrying one or two people and their luggage for long distances. With the GS you have a very versatile bike which is, above all, hugely entertaining to ride.

It remains thoroughly up-to-date, combining the latest developments of the R259 Boxer family.

The R1200GS has a broad powerband with plenty of torque from idle to redline.

BMW's fabulous EVO brakes with optional Semi Integral ABS are fitted.

ABS may be switched off (if desired) for off-road use.
